A Place to Play

Over the past decade, the City of Baytown has invested much effort into creating and revitalizing its local parks. The town boasts more than 40 parks, with a variety of amenities. Many of these parks are situated on or near Goose Creek. Before its restoration, this neglected waterway was often used as a dumping ground. Now, thanks to the Goose Creek Stream Project, nearly 7 miles of bicycle-pedestrian trails have been constructed along its banks. To find out more about Baytown’s parks, click “Search Park Facilities” at left. To make it easier for you to find the perfect park, you can select which features you’re looking for in a park and find out which parks match your criteria. You can also browse the entire list of city parks. Have fun!!

The recently renovated Goose Creek Park, which is located behind Sterling Municipal Library, is a great place for kids to play.
