The City of Baytown has four parks with boat ramps and piers. These include the Baytown Nature Center, Bayland Park, the Wetlands Center and Roseland Park. At all four locations, you can fish from the docks or put your boat in the water and head on out to one of the many local bays. There are also piers at W.C. Britton Park and Goose Creek Park. If you want to travel a little further afield, there are many other fishing destinations nearby. To find out more, start by visiting the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s website. There you will find what you need to know about licenses and regulations, and you can scope out locations. It has sections on freshwater fishing and coastal fishing. You can also check out the websites of area fishing groups, such as the Saltwater Anglers League of Texas or the Coastal Conservation Association.
