Organizational Structure
The Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education and Recreation Center is part of the City of Baytown Parks and Recreation Department. Lee College and Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District provide financial support. Additional funding comes from the Friends of the Wetlands Center, a non-profit group formed to support the initiatives of the Wetlands Center. Members of this group include local industry, businesses, civic organizations, conservation groups and individuals who help carry out the initiatives of the Wetlands Center and are critical to its operation.
ExxonMobil, Bayer, Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, Rotary Club of Baytown, BP Gulf Coast Refining and Chemicals, and Saltwater Anglers League of Texas (SALT) are some of the Wetlands Center’s longtime supporters.
