	Friends of the Center

Making Friends

The Friends of the Wetlands Center is a non-profit group formed to support the initiatives of the Wetlands Center. The group is governed by a board of directors that includes representatives from local businesses and industry, civic organizations, conservation groups and individuals.

One of the objectives of the Friends of the Wetlands Center is to help raise money for Wetlands Center activities through a variety of fund-raising events. Members also help publicize the center within the community.

In addition, the Wetlands Center Volunteer Corps is organized under the umbrella of the Friends of the Wetlands Center. To find out more about volunteering, call 281-420-7128. To join the Friends of the Wetlands Center, print the application at the right.
